Not impressed. Their financial adviser didn't care about our goals and only wanted us to buy his financial products. They made a mess of our taxes, filing at the last second even though they had ample time (by their own definition), then wanted us to pay for extension we shouldn't have needed or wanted. They gave us a financial report full or spelling and other errors which was the last straw. FIRED.
Yes, they can get the basic work done for you. Most, if not all, CPA's can also. The problem with Jones & Roth is they are totally unorganized internally. If you ask an important question during your meetings with them (like I did), don't expect to ever hear back from them. If they make internal changes of the staff handling your work, you won't hear a thing about it. Etc. etc. the list of bad communication experiences I had with them goes on and on. Finally decided to take my business elsewhere, and so far, the new CPA firm is far outperforming Jones & Roth.
