Pros: The seating and the screen are fine and the location is good.
Don't listen to the negative reviews. This theatre is great. The prices are high, but they are worth it. The employees are mostly great. If you find one that isn't, the managers will take care of it fast. Seats are comfortable no matter your size. Access to the auditoriums is very easy. There is a lot of seating for the handicapped, and there is a nifty little arcade for while you wait. The only negative for me is how you have to get up and go back to get any food items you order. I got a pizza and I had to wait till after the movie started to go get it. They used to bring the pizzas and stuff to your seat. All around a great movie going experience.
I've worked in a few multiplexes and so try to judge them very generously; I know it's not the front line workers' fault that the customer service is so terrible. Still, going to the movies is supposed to be enjoyable and I have never been in a good mood before the start of a movie here.
My family were regulars at this theatre buying concessions every time. Our regal card has 35,000 points. After today we will never return. We had some punk kids kicking the back of our seats the entire movie. I tried to ignore it but I suffer from PTSD and anxiety disorders so I could not. When I asked management to intervene he sent an usher who did nothing so the situation was only escalated until my family was bullied into requesting a refund and leaving. Theatre staff could have thrown these kids out for harassing us, but instead this theatre has lost our business forever.
This place has rude employees and even rude management. It's super crappy. Go to Cinemark where the seats are nice comfortable and the staff are kind and smile.
This cinema is located just a short walk from my house, but I will still drive to the other theater if it's showing the same movie. The crew always seems short-staffed, which is doubly frustrating as this is also the most expensive theater in town. The management also seems to act completely uninterested in the customers and have, on several occasions, interrupted me while I was talking to a staff member to relay some info. Of course, this is no big deal occasionally, but it seems like every other interaction I'm getting interrupted.
Great theater with 15 screen, including an IMAX screen. Our senior tickets were less than $7 each for a 4:40 showing. We pay $9 in Salem.
