I attended NHCC while it was still EBC (2004-2009). I never expected the spiritual growth I experienced. Leaving was heart-wrenching, so I did everything I could to come back and help others have the same experiences with God.

If you believe that God is calling you here and decide to come with the expectation that He will develop you and mature you into the person He wants you to become, you won't be disappointed.

An absolutely beautiful school and campus full of people who care for eachother and want to help others. I am so sorry for what appears to have been a bad experience on Leanna Banana's (the other reviewer) part. I wish she could have had the chance to see the love this school and its students/staff/faculty give out.

I am an alumnus of the college and this is one of the best places to grow in Christ and develop your gifts. I came to the college as a 3 month old christian, and now after 33 years in Hawaii I am returning to teach. Amazing college with stellar faculty!

As I reflect on my time spent here, a few things come to mind. I was able to learn a lot more about my faith and developed a lot as a person and a follower of Christ. I've learned from some awesome professors. The campus is beautiful. As an athlete, I appreciated that Coach Jamal and Coach Tony (when he was still here as the golf coach) helped me develop and were patient with me in my difficult times. I understand the the negative reviews from former students, although I do wish they could've seen how the student body has changed and given this another shot so they can at least learn more from the professors here. Regardless, I wish them the best in their journey with God.

Horrible school, I'd rate it half a star if I could. A bunch of snot nosed self righteous students who think they are holier than thou (when in reality they aren't). Wait till you get off the hill and face reality. I was told multiple times I was going to Hell by some blonde snip who was an ITL leader at the time, and was in tears after. They put their hands on me and held me down as they prayed over my like I was the Devil's spawn, because I had a messed up past. LOL! Oh --Not to mention how they treated an army vet who had just returned from the Middle East like absolute dirt. Very very sad! Glad I high tailed it out of there when I did. It's no wonder Christians aren't liked in the world because of people like them. The teaching there is excellent; however, the students....the students are horrible. Sad that most of the good teachers left. The school is out for nothing but looking good, when reality it's all fake. Very unfortunate! Gorgeous campus though!

A very knowledgeable teaching staff, a well maintained grounds, and an inexpensive school. I recommend it to anyone and everyone who feel called by God to the minstry, to some performing arts, or to business.
