My son really loves this place. It is right downtown, so along with getting the BEST donuts in town, we get to walk around and window shop and people watch. Really, really like the atmosphere.
Voodoo doughnuts are always a great treat. The location is convenient; a small walk from campus for college students. Good food with good variety. Only downside is they only accept cash (they have an ATM though).
Great donuts, lousy packaging. The gentleman put all the frosted donuts on the bottom of the box and then paper on top. He then layered the plain donuts and fritters on top. Result? All of the frosting, including the (dry and tasteless) vegetarian Voodoo donut (ran out of the regular version), stuck to the paper and none to the donuts. Simple physics...
The flavors are ON POINT! Who cares that you're spending a little extra... you're getting a quality doughnut, a memory and a story to tell. Now this was my first time coming to Voodoo and I'll just say it's well worth the random treat once in a blue moon. Delicious, crazy flavor ideas and great atmosphere. Do it... try it... it's worth It! And... they have milk (;
Great feel.. fun place. From Ca we love stuff like this. Prices are a little high, and would be really cool if they made dog treats.. like white chocolate covered dog bones.. j/s but still good fun, thanx.
