We received a very warm welcome on arrival after a long day of driving. The hotel is well situated, lots of eating places around. Nicely kept property, comfortable rooms, good value. We would stay again.
I thoroughly enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep at the BW Greentree Inn in Eugene. I decided to stay only at BW on my trip from southern CA to Seattle simply because the rooms are consistently nice and the breakfasts are all satisfying and exactly what I want in the morning before getting back on the road. My experience with the quality of the personnel is outstanding, they're cheerful, courteous and helpful.
Overall a great place. Friendly, accommodating staff. We had to change our plans twice and reschedule the rooms and they were friendly and helpful both times. Rooms were clean, there were two comfy chairs so both my wife and I could sit (why do most hotels only have one!?). Internet was reliable and fast, although I didn't try streaming anything. Breakfast bar had a good selection (eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, toast/bagels, yogurt, coffe/juice/milk, cereal, biscuits and gravy), but nothing was super high quality. It was, however, filling and much better than most hotels' "sweet rolls and coffee" breakfast. I'd definitely stay again if I were passing through.
Good enough for the price. Friday night was almost double the cost of Saturday. Even staff was confused. Maids were friendly and helpful. Older building. 45 degrees in the room when we arrived but heater worked well.
A friend in Eugene recommended this hotel. I had made reservations somewhere else, but I changed them to this Best Western. So glad we did. Loved the location and the little porch overlooking the river. The staff were extremely friendly, and the breakfast choices were varied and fresh. The bed and furnishings were lovely and everything was very clean.
