Not sure if they cut back on help, or the new norm is not to do their job. No help, struggled for hours to find what i needed, something that should have taken less than 30 minutes to accomplish.
Today would have to be the worst experience I have ever had with Macy’s. The Eugene store is outdated, understaffed and inefficient. The polo shop for men is now non existent and the men’s shoe store is just... sad!
Lucas was very helpful. However, we had to order a pair of shoes three times before they got the right size because a different rep ordered them wrong. When I asked to get my money back, they refused and said they could only do store credit because THEY had applied my money to a store credit to do the exchange. Essentially, they couldn't make right and give me my money back because of a mistake they made. I won't be coming back.
Cecilia in the shoe department was very helpful and ordered a pair of shoes with a wide width not sold in stores, to be mailed to my home. Also got some great deals on a jacket, pair of jeans and three blouses.
Asked a question to find an item. 2 employees were looking and I had found the item and they rudely said " geez if you know where it's at then you can have the job". What the hell I didn't deserve that ......stuck up employees
I would rather order online than go back to this store. Please remodel and bring some training in your customer service if you have any hope of staying alive in a competitive market!
