Horrible. Literally didn't have battery in stock ordered there stuff a week before i came in and a week later still no battery. Went in to store in person and told them to take me off schedule and they still called me and bothered me with email and phone calls after the fact. DO NOT GO HERE not well priced. I would recommend going to batteries plus much much better.

To elaborate, I had an issue with my iPhone 6S. I brought it into Simply Mac, and they said that the issue was covered under warranty, and that they would wipe my current phone clean, send it off to Apple, and Apple would send them a refurbished phone in replacement. Like the ever-trusting sheep of a consumer I must have been, I said "okay," and handed them my damaged phone.

I will NEVER trust this place again. What low life. It did nothing but inconvenience me and I had to get a new card. The donation center tracked the number. They used my card number over the phone.

Go to a an Apple Store. Not this terrible "certified" store.

They are very kind and responsive so that it seems like you're getting great service, but they neglect basic details like looking up whether you're still under your Apple care plan before giving you an estimate and/or recommendation! Getting a second opinion stopped me from losing ALL my data from a damaged hard drive and paying hundreds of dollars to repair it myself when I still had apple care coverage. Nice people, but a poorly run business.

In case there's room for doubt, the phone number associated with the fraudulent charge on my statement belonged to none other than Devon (last name omitted), the technician who "helped" me with my phone.

Imagine that.

Simply Mac is a shoddy circus of scams and identity theft. Don't bring your device to these laughable excuses for "Apple Specialists," unless you want to be given a stolen phone or have your credit card information stolen.

A couple of days later there was a charge to a charity in Oregon.

The technician assured me that they would wipe the phone.

Tried to sell me $19.99 factory reboot which is one button easy at home.

(For a little context, my credit card information was on this phone, and would be easily accessible to whoever had the phone).

Long story short, Simply Mac will go through your phone and steal your information if you don't wipe it yourself, and they will give you a crappy replacement phone that is NOT an Apple-issued refurbished device.

Don't trust these people, they don't even answer the phone when you call.

One of the technicians stole my credit card information off of my *working* phone that needed to be replaced under warranty.

Not more than two days later, I noticed an odd charge on my credit card statement. I called my credit card company, and they said that it was for a donation to charity. I made no such donation. I had not given my credit card information to any organization or company. The only way that anyone else could have possibly had access to my information would be to have the card itself, (which I have in my possession), or to have my phone with the information on it.

When I went to the store to pick up my "new" phone and confront them about it, the technician was conveniently not working, and the guys that were working were very rude and dismissive of my predicament. The phone I received as a replacement was not boxed, as all refurbished products are supposed to be, and it was visibly used (not refurbished). The tech I spoke to about this issue was very sarcastic and suggested that I was spreading rumors (though another reviewer had a very similar occurrence). After I left the store and sat outside for a bit to talk with Apple about the issue (the Apple technician I spoke to before had told me to check the serial number on the new phone to see if it was a stolen phone), another employee of Simply Mac stood nearby staring at me and texting someone. The Apple technician told me that the serial number did not match a device that they had released as refurbished, confirming that the device was either stolen, sold, or an employee-use phone.

I asked them if they wipe the phone because I had credit card information on it that I could not personally erase due to phone malfunction

Don't bother with this sham of a shop. Just deal with shipping or drive to Portland.
