The price for sesame oil is the best I've found in Eugene hands down!
For all the space, there was a bad selection. There was 15 minutes where no one was there to help me. Finally when someone came out from the back, I asked about curry paste. She said they didn't have any, so I asked which of the ones there could she recommend as a substitute. Then she proceeded to tell me they didn't carry any. I said, "no, you do. I just want to know which one I should use instead." She still said they didn't carry any. So I asked her to come with me so I could show her and she acted like she didn't speak English, even though she was speaking with someone in perfect English when I got there. So frustrating to have that card pulled on me. I won't be going back.
The selection is limited. Mostly Chinese food. Not much Korean, Japanese or other country products. Definitely prefer Sunrise.
Good prices, good produce and meat. You can find a lot of eastern junk food and frozen meals, but also a lot of fresh veggies and meats.
Very limited product availability
Good spot for introverts. No one is going to stare you down as you walk in or ask if you need help finding anything. Probably not awesome if you are into the American style of over-catering to guests. They aren't going to hold your hand to guide you to the food you want.
Love this place. Tons of stuff from many different Asian countries. Some of it is very inexpensive.
