Light years better than the last clinic in the Eugene area. It's much more like a hospital to me.
Great primary care provider. Wonderful Podiatry department. Excellent Optometrist. successful Colonoscopy. Shoulder x-ray. All that and more is now available in Eugene! Hey, I'm still alive what else can I say!
I waited 3 years to see a psychiatrist. What did the psychiatrist do? Nothing as he would not renew my prescriptions from a private psychiatrist that I had been seeing in Washington State for 5 years. He had zero understanding of my problem. The Mayo Clinic in NYC did a study on my condition & found there was only one drug that seemed to help a little. This was the drug I was taking that he would not renew. Now I have to drive to Seattle twice a year to get my prescription renewed. Each trip costs me about $500 for hotels, travel & doctor! Notice most of the 5 star reviews do not have anything written? Any bets that is the staff at the clinic?
What a beautiful, shiny new clinic! And what a massive waste of money!! Who on earth builds something like this and COMPLETELY ignores the dire need of the veterans in this area for an urgent care or emergency department!!! WHAT A JOKE.
Absolute waste of government funding. No same day or emergency services. Veterans are told to risk their lives and drive to Roseburg or Portland for emergency care. Even then they might still not receive proper care due to caregiver burnout. It's a shame our vets served the country and cannot get proper help. However they do run thru a patient advocate every few months because they are either A) not a veteran or B) have no medical credentials. This puts patient advocates in a bad position because their hands are tied. It would save citizen tax dollars if they would shut this building down and turn it over to the civilian sector where they would have accountability.
Very grateful for the wonderful new VA facility in Eugene.
