Awesome dog park! I've been here at different times of the day and there's always dogs for my pup to play with. There's several benches, some of them covered. The crowd is very friendly and easy to strike a conversation with. I stepped on poop once but generally speaking, its very clean.
The Amazon Pool is a swimmers delight whether you're a six year old kidlet or a seasoned master's swimmer. From early Spring to late October this pool rocks the aquatics for Eugene. The pool's proximity to a great kid's park (just south of the pool), dog park and community bike paths makes it a hub of community in all seasons. A south Eugene gem.
I only wish the parks would incorporate Big Kid equipment. They have park friendly exercise machines on the market! Then parents can also play at the park.
Kids and I had some fun on the newly constructed playground. Which makes me wish I had something so extravagant growing up. But like I said before, had a blast ;) and there's a pool nearby!
Good walking biking trail from downtown to 34th. Long narrow park between 2 main thorough fares. Also a small-dog park.
