They have a large variety of Hawks, Owls, & Eagles. Since this is a rescue type operation most birds on display were permanently injured in some way and would not be returning to the wild. It didn't stop us from enjoying these majestic birds. There's about 30 birds of varying types. We liked the Red Tailed Hawks the best (such personality).

Special treats are the vultures and Asian Owl(?) two creatures you can see up close and are just fascinating to watch in person.

You get up close and personal with lots of intricately beautiful birds of prey that are usually just dots in the distance, if you see them at all (like owls). The species here can, all but one, be found in Oregon too! So we can better understand our ecological surroundings.

The parking lot is small, gravel/dirt and on a steep hill.We came on a rainy day and were able to make it up in our minivan. They had umbrellas for us to use. It's about an hour of viewing (don't let your kids rush through or you'll be done in 10 minutes).

nice to see that there is a place that rehabs them. fairly nice variety of them in a pretty location. even though it was rainy it was interesting and the birds seemed pretty content. although you cannot see the ones that are there for rehab and release back to the wild its nice to know your entry fee is going for a good cause

Lots of cool birds, about an hour and a half to see them all. Sometimes people will bring a bird out and you can ask questions while they feed it. Very friendly.

We wanted to see some birds in cages. That's what we got.

This is one of my favorite Oregon treasures. I've been about 4 times now and the staff here truly love what they do and are very enthusiastic about showing you these amazing creatures. I love the stories behind each bird. I wish each bird had about 10x the space they do, such amazingly majestic creatures, need more space. (Even though many can't fly.)
