I have a 2003 Dyna Wide Glide. I purchased the bike from Latus in August 2016. I paid about $6,300.00, financed.
So how can you sell a bike that is almost worthless to me? I know I singed the paperwork, but really I trusted your word that this was a good bike, and selling it too me at the price you did lead me to think it has value.
I told the sales person that the figures scare me! I left feeling very disappointed. You got your money Mr Latus. Enjoy it!
I can not justify trading in my bike and paying an exorbitant amount of money for a bike of lesser value and losing an incredible amount of money.
I was told my current bike would be worth even less in 3 months, that the new models are coming out. I said how can a new model bike make my used one less valuable? My used bike has nothing to do with new bikes.
Note: The pic of the Sportster is the one I would have bought if I had agreed to the deal. I did not mention I had to come up with $718.00 down.

I have come to feel very scared of ever buying a Harley again. The bragging rights to Made in America Value seems to have fallen greatly with Harley!
As the year went by I came to realize I am not strong enough to ride this bike and do not feel safe on it. I thought about either trading it in or seeing if the dealership would buy it from me. I have been paying on it for a little over a year now.
I went in today and looked at my options. I spoke to a salesman and mentioned maybe a Sportster would be better. If Latus had a used one at a low cost, I might see what my bike would bring in for trade. And then finance the Sportster, that way I feel strong enough and safer on a smaller bike. I was surprised. My bike was financed at just over $6,000.00k. It is worth $2,000.00 I have not even put 1000 miles on it since I bought it.
I thought wow, if I wait to pay it off in a couple years it will be worthless. Not really but they make it sound like it is worthless.
Went in with my wife to look for beanies. It was the first time at Latus. Selection was great! Not only beanies, but everything else in motor clothes. Great clearance rack too! And thecrewsrfs program is awesome! Definetly going back!”

So as you can see on the paper work, they want to give a value of $2,000.00 for my bike, carry the remaining 2,949.76 over to the new bike that is valued at $3,995.00 plus fees giving me a total of $6,453.70. So I would be signing paperwork for a smaller bike that is one year older than mine, and is worth less than or equal to mine for $6,453.70. I understand that they want to carry over the remaining cost of my current bike but they only want to give me 2k for it as it's value.
Stopped in here for a poker chip during a road trip. Nobody wanted to get up off their asses to ring it up. There was another couple at the counter with some merchandise as well. Asked the woman at the front desk to ring it and she sent us to the parts counter. When he got off the phone he said he didn't know the past number or price. I told him the price and he sent us back to the counter where there was still nobody there to ring a purchase. I put the chip back and walked out. Lazy, joke of a dealership. Don't waste your time here!
