I made my payment on time and 5 days later I got an email saying my policy was cancelled due to my account being closed lol.. They missed the account number by one number and refused to own up to it . tried to charge me an extra $ 100 on top of my monthly to set up a new account . I told them to blow me and got full coverage at progressive for the same price as the basic coverage at geicko. What a joke and the owners dog pooped on the floor when I was there
If you do business with GEICO be prepared to have your patience tried to the maximum. It is virtually impossible to get a question answered without going through a convoluted maze of menus, transfers, recordings, incompetent people in various locations throughout the country, and lengthy holds during which you will be subjected to bizarre noise that someone at GEICO calls music. You might save a few bucks, but you might also have to spend it later on psychotherapy for shattered nerves.
