Good birding areas. The paths are clean and a few helpful signs explain about the area. I took a photo of this great blue heron in a tree this morning.
A beautiful and easy stroll around the ponds. You never know what you might see. On our walks we've seen beaver, otters, and mink. We've stumbled across a few snakes. We typically see Blue Herons, and the occasional Green heron. So many geese and ducks of different types. If you're into plants, there is a huge variety of plants as well. We have been walking here for many years and there is always something new to see. Walk quietly and you never know.
Delta Ponds is a wetlands park/waterfowl habitat. On any day, you can spot dozens of different species. Lots of ducks, geese, cormorants, egrets, herons, and raptors. A great place for photography or bird watching.
This place has been cleaned up over the last decade and is an amazing place to go for a walk.
