Was in Eugene for the Olympic Trials and LUCKILY came back to Utah with more than just vacation memories. Colleen (aka the Bird Lady, as my husband and I refer to her) has the best selection of beautiful, hand-fed birds and we are now the proud owners of a cockatiel and a lineolated parakeet! LOVE them both so much! As pet lovers, but first-time bird owners, I was looking for birds I could bond with. I could not be happier with Oliver and Ally (named after some favorite USATF athletes!). Oliver (the cockatiel) hangs with me everywhere and even gives me "kisses" and cheek rubs. Ally (the parakeet) snuggles and makes the cutest sounds. They love to shower with me, watch track (of course!), play with straws, and snack on the millet Colleen told us is their favorite treat. Colleen was so friendly, knowledgeable and obviously loves and has taken good care of the birds in her shop. Besides coming away with our birds, Colleen hooked us up with two cages, inexpensive food and toys. Wish she were local, so we could refer our friends to her!
