Honestly the best and most knowledgeable shop I've been to in the area as far as reptiles go! For me, that's a big deal because I want to make sure I have all the best info I can before buying for the first time. They are very hands on with the animals and the customer service is the best. It's easy to be comfortable there.
This reptile store is pretty amazing! They have a great selection of reptiles, and the staff seem to know enough about the reptiles, such as the bearded dragons. The staff is friendly as well, though there are a few things that they could improve on, like any type of store.
I visited Reptile Universe and really liked it. The owners obviously cared a lot for the reptiles they have. The owner let me handle a snake for a few minutes. That was my first time, and I was amazed at how much I liked it. This is an unusual and very interesting store. If you like reptiles and want one for a pet this is the place to go.
Third, I think you could try to fill up the water bowls more so that the beardies don’t get dehydrated. Especially in this time of the year, it gets hot, so maybe try filling up the water bowls when they’re empty? That would be awesome. As you have already said, you guys are trying to improve, so that’s great. I hope you all keep improving in the future, with these suggestions that I have given. But, other than that, I’d say that the reptile store is awesome. They let you freely handle the animals if you would like, and, as I’ve said before, they seem to know a fair amount about caring for the animals. I hope this review is noticed! :)
First, the bearded dragons. I know I said that they know a lot about bearded dragons, but there are a few things that could be improved. The substrate should be changed as soon as possible, especially for the babies. They are living on sand, and sand can actually cause impaction if they accidentally swallow it. So I would recommend paper towel or reptile carpet. You guys have already used paper towel for some of the babies, so that’s great!
Second, I think another thing you guys could improve on would be the crickets. Maybe don’t leave the leftover crickets in their enclosures? I say that because crickets can actually start to eat your bearded dragons if left in the enclosure for too long. So, maybe you guys can try to take out the extra crickets after about 15 minutes.
I really like this shop. They have a big variety of reptiles. I especially liked the wide variety of snakes. The owner is very knowledgeable about reptiles and reptile care. He really cares about these critters and puts effort into making sure they are all taken care of. I was impressed that this is a very kid-friendly shop and encourages children to come and meet the reptiles and learn about them and how to care for them. Best recommendation.
I have been in this shop several times. It is a clean, well kept shop. The reptiles are healthy and happy. Thanks to the caring staff and invested management and owner, this reptile store is top notch!! Thanks Reptile Universe for all of your amazing help!!
