There are 5 bike shops located in the town where I currently live. I drive an hour south to Life Cycle on a regular basis because of the outstanding customer service. Pricing is very fair, both in the service department and on the sales floor.
The owner and staff at this shop are amazing! You can really tell they care about biking and are very knowledgeable about bikes. I came in not having ridden a bike since my childhood, so I was pretty clueless. They got me set up with a bike, ran through how to use it, attached the accessories I wanted, recommended bags and stuff to go with it, and even showed me how to best lock up my bike. It was a great experience, I cannot recommend them enough.
They always treat me with a very welcoming energy & like I'm part of their family, even if they don't see me for many months. Oh yeah, they remember my name!. Great place to go for quality everything, competitive pricing, & superior guest service (I don't say customer because they treat you like you're a guest whether, or not, you spend money). Oh yeah, their patience when they're busy, but would still like to answer as many questions as you have and even breaking from their "work" to show you around to the many different options of bikes and/or equipment. Life Cycles is a great shop! It encompasses everything a good bike shop should: A wide range of products at every price point, passionate employees that love what they do and enjoy helping you get on two wheels and to top it all off, a passionate owner who truly cares about the biking community and his customers. I have had these guys do a lot of work on my bike and it is all top notch!
