After experiencing some pain for a while I made an appointment and was able to quickly get one. I was impressed I didn't have to wait for months for my initial exam. I saw Dr. Simona Braun. She was very personable and throughout and asked a lot of questions. She was very helpful and gave an outlook into what to expect in the future in regards to my condition. I'd definitely recommend her to my friends.
Dr. Cassell and his staff are first rate. They are thorough, intelligent, and listen to the patient. They work with you to solve the problem, instead of just handing out prescriptions like candy. They use physical and occupational therapy in tandem with pharmacological therapy, and that gives phenomenal results to a patient who is ready to work with them.
Do low income patients get to see the doctors, or are we all relegated to the judgmental PA?
I've only had the pleasure of working with the PA in the office, Ms. Derlacki, but I've been exceptionally impressed with the staff as a whole, and with how well they care for their patients. Thanks to the effort of my long time physician referring me to their office a 13-year "medical mystery" was identified and began treatment within three visits. She's also been very realistic about what it is that I can expect in the short-term, and long-term, of my treatment, which helps to make goals and expectations possible and hopeful. I would easily suggest a family member to visit their office!
