dr.knackstedt is most competant and very reliable he is a no b.s. guy and very throuall.I trusted my voice to him and the results are phenamanall.
I have not yet actually seen Dr. Knackstedt at this point. Four weeks ago I made an appointment for today at 1pm. At 12pm today I called the office to confirm my appointment. The receptionist told me that everything was set for my appointment. I showed up and noticed a large amount of people in the waiting room. After filling out my paperwork I asked the receptionist if there was a long wait. She then told me there was a morning rush and the Dr. was running about 40 minutes late. I had another prior commitment at 2pm and ended up having to leave after waiting for 35 minutes. I was extremely disappointed that I was not told about the 40 minute wait when I called an hour earlier. I now have a new appointment in another two weeks, hopefully I will actually be able to see Dr. Knackstedt at that point.
It has alot to be desired. My boyfriend has had problems with his tongue and throat. Huge bumps that are spreading. He has been in great pain now for about 2 months. He can hardly eat, and because of the pain medication his stomach is always feelling sick. He doesn't work to much, Just sleeps alot. The doctor seems to not know what the problem is, after 2 biopseys. The doctor seems not to care that we are very worried, that my boyfriend is sick and completely depressed. I feel he should at least call or make an appointment with us, so we're not scared and know what is happening. To leave us hanging ,and hoping that we will get some kind of input from him. It is very wrong to treat patients as though there not important enough to take a little bit of time with, to ease the worry. What happened to the wonderful doctors that really took being a doctor with pride?
My dad was having some serious hearing trouble. Dr knackstedt was very kind with him. He explained everything very well and showed excellent bedside manner. He perscribed him an eardrop that ended up curing his ailment rather easily. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Over the past several years I have seen an allergist, neurologist, (another local) Ear,Nose & Throat doctor, all recommended by my PCP, but to no avail. My symptoms weren't life threatening, but they did affect my quality of life, headaches and running nose. (I chose Dr. Knackstedt because he is a surgeon and I was desperate to overcome my symptoms.) It has been 3 months and Dr. Knackstedt did not have to do a surgery, he prescribed an inhaler that worked!
I still get the symptoms, but now I use the inhaler and I have (nearly immediate) relief, and no side effects from the RX! My greatest thanks to Dr. Knackstedt. :-)
