Dr. Junior has been my PCP since I "graduated" from pediatrics several years ago. She's a straight shooter and gets to the point in a kind and respectful way. Doctors are by definition either very intelligent or very learned, but Dr. Junior is truly a cut above the rest. If you want someone who will give you the truth and know what she's talking about, you're looking for her. Also she's stylish, which is cool.
My first experience was when I had an X-ray at Urgent Care for pneumonia and was sent to my PCP, which was her. She looked at the X-ray and sent me for a ct scan. The scan came back showing that I had a tumor in the upper left lobe of my lung. She scheduled me for a needle biopsy without asking my permission. When I went to her office I told her I needed to think about this or what my other options were and get back to her. When I returned in two days she walked in and said what is your decision. Did not say hello or anything and obviously was very annoyed with me. At that point I told her I wanted a second opinion which she did not like at all. She got very aggressive about it and told me in so many words she could not waste her time arranging tests. Now this is to someone she told in all probability has lung cancer. There was no sympathy, compassion, understanding, just anger at my wanting a second opinion, like who was I to question her. I hope she or Peace Health reads this and wants to sue me because I will go public with it. She is a horribly arrogant woman who does not have the patient's best interests at heart, and my only reason for printing this is to prevent other people from being abused by her.
